How to Use Deco Mosaic Tiles: Students and artists of all ages will achieve great results with ease. Simply use double-sided tape, glue, or Magiclay (CRA8020, CRA8050) to adhere the pieces to a base. Tiles can be cut and shaped with everyday tools such as scissors, cutters, and sandpaper.
Grout Method: - Lay down double-sided tape onto a surface/base.
- Prepare a grout mix according to packet instructions.
- On a flat surface, plan out the pattern or image by assembling the Deco Mosaic Tiles.
- Transfer the tiles to the taped base, leaving a 1mm-2mm gap between each tile.
- Fill the gaps with the prepared grout and set your design aside.
- Once the grout is touch dry, use a damp sponge to wipe off the excess grout from the surface of the tiles.
- Allow to harden completely.
Magiclay Method: - Spread a thin, even layer of White Magiclay (CRA8020) onto a surface.
- Arrange the tiles to create an image or pattern.
- Press the tiles into the Magiclay, leaving a 1mm-2mm gap between them.
- Allow the Magiclay to dry it will hold the tiles in place and act as grout when dry.
